Brugal Extra Viejo Rum

Nez de canne à sucre, vanille, cacao, mélasse et miel. Bois de chêne légèrement imprégné d'alcool en arrière-plan. Très beau nez en général, doux et soyeux. En bouche, le liquide coule tout seul, canne à sucre un peu diluée, vanille, bois flambé, cacao. Finale un peu décevante où on a droit à un alcool sec et terreux avec du sucre brun grillé. Texture très douce, voire trop, palette de saveurs limitée. On bon rhum d'entrée de gamme très facile à boire et parfait pour des cocktails.

Aroma: very sweet with some wood spice, vanilla and distinct white peach. I also find cola and a hint of unpleasant glue. Taste: first vanilla and alcohol then wood and some citrus Finish: a medium short dry finish with wood By far not my preferred rum to drink neat but works beautifully with coke as it contrasts the coke's sweetness with woody flavours .

Interesting rum that you can tell has a hint of bourbon flavor from the aging. Definitely smooth to drink but the vanilla and orange can be a little hard to taste. A good mixer for a cocktail as opposed to just sipping.

Jasmine and orange blossom nose,slightly whiff of chlorine. Extremely smooth with a pepper aftertaste. This is dangerously easy drinking and lovely.

Темный, сухой ром с ароматом специй, дубовой коры и тростниковой сладости. Неплохой ром, если покупать по акции. Иначе цена сильно завышена.

Ok for mixed drinks but not a go to for drinking on the rocks or neat. Spicy and a bit alcohol forward.
