This is a good high proof bourbon that stays on the shelf. I was taken by the cherry forward expression and surprisingly mellow bite for the proof. Some might struggle with buying a good but somewhat less complex bourbon but I find it a satisfying pour. Solid deal for $50 and under.
Aroma Light Vanilla and caramel with definite high proof alcohol. Taste. Nutty with a smooth transition to vanilla nice ending warm with Kentucky hug.
A little hot, but to be expected with the proof. Not many layers but wood tones and a nice caramel layer of sweetness throughout.
Spicy bite up front, with a mild Carmel flavor
For under 50 dollars, it’s hard to do better.
