Nose: fruity, bottle doesnt say theres sherry cask here but it smells like theres some. Salted caramel. Ocean spray. Candied dark cherry, cocoa. John says model airplane glue. Palate: beautiful. Rich. Fruity. Smooth. Berries. Caramel, prominet baking spices. As it transitions to finish the sweetness dips a bit and the oaky wood spice comes out. Finish: oak, slight umami, salinity.

Great on ice. Initial full strength nose was just full of alcohol and harsh on the nose. Sip was smooth with a slight cherry finish. After ice, it has a nice fragrant carmel nose. Sweet maple syrup on the tongue, with a slight alcohol burn at the end. Finishes with fruit and cherry

A very smooth islay with great flavor. Hints of cinnamon and maple. Not as party as most islay scotches. Still very good!
