You can definitely smell the alcohol on the nose. Alcohol overpowers other smells. Very oaky. Tastes good. Not my first choice for drinking neat, but is tasty in an old fashioned.

Nose: a nice dusty corn nose, with a bit of malt and cinnamon Palate: lightly sweet, a bit sharp. Caramel, burnt oak. Finish: moderately thin.
Not nearly as flavorful as the flagship teal label. Not ‘bad’ by any means but just younger tasting and nowhere near as complex.
Smooth up front. Strong alcohol on the back. Light oak. Good finishing whiskey would not start with it neat.
Bit hotter than alc% says, kinda refreshing w a tiny touch of spice
