This bottling from independent bottler and blender Buzzard's Roost is a blend of straight Indiana bourbons aged 4-6 years with two different high-rye mash bills. It's then re-barreled into the brand's proprietary oak barrels that are toasted and lightly charred (char #1). It's bottled without chill filtration at barrel proof of 114.4.

This is a great drinker for those of us that like spice. It’s spicy but not overly so. It’s warm and inviting with hints of oak, vanilla and maybe some tobacco. It’s sweet without being over the top. The finish is medium in length. Overall pretty darn tasty
Tried neat at my bar in santa fe! On the nares it def smells hotter than it is on the palate. Its the wifeys bday so im going to have to come back to this. But the owner of my favorite bar has been holding onto this and it is absolutely delicious and spicy
Slight vanilla and strong spice to the nose. Vanilla flavor on the front of the tongue, long lingering slice kick on the backend. Drinkable spirit for a 113.5 proof
Really great nose with big caramel butterscotch that carry’s to the palate really well. Excellent taste and a medium long finish.
Rich smoky, sweet bourbon, full finish definitely have again, easy and rich
