CACHAÇA BUTECO DO JAY AMBURANA BY CACHAÇARIA NACIONAL

Buteco do Jay” began in 2015. The founder Jay Messina transformed the living room of his apartment in the United States into a bar to entertain friends. The bar, nicknamed “Buteco do Jay”, became a meeting point. In April 2019, the video “Torresmo e Cachaça” was posted on Cachaçaria Nacional’s YouTube channel, a partnership between Jay and the founders of Cachaçaria Nacional, one of the largest cachaça e-commerce sites. Jay became a great promoter of Cachaça in the United States. In mid-2018, at the request of several followers and friends, Cachaça Buteco do Jay was born. Two great connoisseurs of artisanal Cachaça, Marcos Paolinelli and Rafael Araújo, developed the blend that would be named “Cachaça Buteco do Jay”. The cachaça is produced in the city of Ivoti, state of Rio Grande do Sul, by the renowned distillery Weber Haus. Cachaça Buteco do Jay Amburana is stored in Amburana barrels, a distinctive Brazilian wood that provides woody notes, spices, and honey, with a long finish. The alcohol content is at the minimum legal level permitted by Brazilian legislation for cachaças (38%) so that the product is pleasant to the palate.
