Produced in the city of Três Pontas, state of Minas Gerais, the producer named each cachaça after a god from Roman mythology. This one is called Minerva, in honor of the Roman goddess. This cachaça is a new product and is not yet on the producer's website or available for sale. The time spent in Castanheira wood did add pale yellow color to the drink, but it did add oiliness, a little touch of vanilla, dried fruits and nuts.. The 44% alcohol (4% more than the producer's other cachaças) is well integrated and does not attack the sensory. Minerva is Roman goddess of wisdom, arts, commerce and war. She is the counterpart of the Greek goddess Athena.
