Produced in Itajubá, Minas Gerais, since 2024, this brand exudes simplicity in every bottle. Nagib, a Cachaça lover, lives the day-to-day life in the still, knowing every process firsthand. More than just producing, he shares an experience. The name Luar da Mantiqueira came about naturally. It was necessary to pay homage to the mountain range where he grew up, lived, and where he so often toasted under the moonlight. The name came even before the first bottle. Production respects time and processes: correct fermentation, slow distillation—or, as Nagib calls it, "stillage without rushing," with the head and syrup discarded to retain only the heart of the Cachaça. Today, in partnership with chemical engineer Paulo, the brand is growing stronger without sacrificing its essence: it's not about quantity, it's about quality. Aged for a year in French oak barrels, Cachaça Luar da Mantiqueira Carvalho boasts a refined aromatic profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit.
