CACHAÇA PAI DELA TRADICIONAL PRATA

In the 1940s, the current producer's maternal grandfather, a Portuguese descendant known as Chico Barba, began producing cachaça in the still he built on his farm "Pastinho", located in Pará de Minas, Minas Gerais. People began to seek out Mr. Chico Barba to buy cachaça. During the production of the cachaça, his eldest daughter, Maria, was responsible for tasting and evaluating the quality of the cachaça. Her friends would taste it and happily say in a festive mood: "Her father's cachaça!" Today, at 88 years old, Maria is proud to say that she was the "taster" of her father's cachaça. Recovering the origin of this production, valuing the family tradition and paying homage to my grandfather Chico Barba, I began studies for the production and commercialization of Pai Dela cachaça from Minas Gerais. With great care and fond memories, the yellow cachaça is aged and stored in Amburana barrels, while the traditional white cachaça is aged in stainless steel barrels. Cachaça Pai Dela, from grandfather to grandson, the third generation proudly continuing the history of this family cachaça. Cachaça Pai Dela Traditional Silver 700ml is currently produced in the city of Itaverava, state of Minas Gerais. It is aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks and has an alcohol content of 40%.
