Made in the Santa Rita de Caldas region, in the south of Minas Gerais, after years of research, Cachaça Prosa Mineira was created in 2010, with specific sensory characteristics. In the still, the entire cachaça production process is done by hand and control of all variables is in the hands of the producer, who even takes care of the correct selection of the main raw material for cachaça: sugar cane. For this reason, the still has a seedling and planting nursery. The process of maturing the sugar cane to obtain an ideal brix (sugar content) standard for fermentation, in addition to growing in favorable climate and soil conditions, are factors that directly influence the final result of the cachaça. Cachaça Prosa Mineira Ouro Carvalho is stored for two years in oak barrels, giving the drink slightly woody and sweet notes like vanilla and spices. With an alcohol content of 39%, this distilled drink has been integrated alcohol . The name harks back to the colonial era of Brazil, when farmers and cattle drivers, after their daily work or to beat the harsh winter cold in the region, would use cachaça to warm up and relax while playing guitar with friends.
