In 1994, siblings Márcio, Tomás, and Marisa Vieira de Moura, considering a new career, decided on a project that was realized after researching the production process, gathering information, visiting institutions, distilleries, suppliers, and taking courses. Using an improved process, in accordance with the principles of the Minas Gerais Cachaça Law, the first harvest of Cachaça Rainha do Vale was distilled in 1997. From selected sugarcane, with completely natural fermentation, slow distillation, and aging in oak and jequitibá barrels. Sensory Analysis (Oak and Jequitibá): • Slightly yellow cachaça, clear and transparent, with tears running down the glass. • Soft aromas associated with vanilla and almonds. • Sweet primary taste, with medium acidity and alcohol content, and a spicy sensation. Oak and Jequitibá Barrels • 2 years of aging Source: Rainha do Vale website
