In 1949, Mr. Frederico Spézia married Mrs. Hilda Kraisch and, in the same year, consolidated another achievement: the acquisition of the still of his father-in-law José Kraisch. This union and partnership gave rise to Cachaçaria Spézia in the city of Luiz Alves, state of Santa Catarina, D.O. de Cachaça (designation of origin for cachaça). In the beginning, the family cultivated the sugarcane plantations themselves, grinding them to ensure the supplies. Later, the cane molasses was brought in carts for production, coming from neighboring neighborhoods by the city's settlers. The small enterprise grew and allowed the purchase of machinery to increase production and meet the growing demands of the region. In general, the cachaça rests for a period of 2 to 35 years in oak barrels, giving it its unique flavors and refinement. Today With more than 70 labels, it offers high-quality beverages, produced by hand, with selected raw materials and a 75-year tradition. There are two different labels for Cachaça Spezia Ouro Carvalho, each label from a different batch of the same harvest in 2020. This occurred because the first batch on August 14, 2020 used the old label and the second batch on September 1, 2020 used the new label on the bottle. Notes: caramel color, aromatic toffee, vanilla, dried fruits, almonds, long finish. Source Cachaça Spezia website
