Produced in the municipality of Sucupira do Riachão in the State of Maranhão, northeast of Brazil. There isn't much information on the internet and the producer's website doesn't help at all. Apparently, cachaça is stored in jequitibá, amburana and oak barrels. In sensory analysis, the cachaça is balanced, correct alcohol, acidity and sugar, integrated wood, long finish. There is no information about the aging time in wood.
