Weber Haus is managed by Evandro Weber, a descendant of Germans from Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul. When they arrived in Germany, his great-grandparents acquired land in the city, where they planted cassava and sugarcane and produced flour. The family began making cachaça in 1848 for their own consumption. The still was built in 1948, and over time, they modernized production. The business ended up being passed down from parents to children. It was this family unity that contributed to the longevity of the enterprise. The Weber Haus agro-industry has more than 35 national and international awards and is the most awarded cachaça in Brazil. They also have liqueurs, grape juices and brown sugar, among others. The Weber Haus Premium 7 Madeiras Cachaça 750ml is a blend that goes through the seven types of wood available at the Weber Haus distillery. Aged for two years in French and American oak barrels, balsam, amburana, cabriúva, grápia, and sassafras cinnamon wood, it has an alcohol content of 38%. The combination of woods makes the drink slightly drier, where on the palate it is possible to identify notes of white chocolate, spices, and a slight spiciness. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional.
