About this bottle
In July 2020, Diageo announced the first set of vintage single malt whiskies in its Prima & Ultima limited edition series featuring Caol Ila and seven other distilleries. They were all selected by Dr. Jim Beveridge and bottled at their natural cask strength. For this 1984 vintage release, the whisky was matured in one single refill European oak butt (#5773) for 35 years. Bottled at 50.8% ABV.
