About this bottle

In an effort to modernize, the 122-year-old company Gordon & MacPhail overhauled all its ranges in April 2018. The Connoiseurs Choice was the first to receive a new design. One of the first new releases sporting this look, is a whisky from Islay distillery Caol Ila, that's 13-years-old and received a finish in an ex-Hermitage wine cask.

Reminded me a lot of Laphroaig Brodir, but not as good as this one. Peat and red fruits!

Unpleasant smell of rubber, no depth in taste. Disappointed in this one..

Levi Moncrieff 4.0

Smokey, oily, hints of red fruits.
