Very peaty on the nose, but not so much when drank neat. Finishes peaty though. Initially, I get a taste of wheat. Repeat sips are more tame
About this bottle
San Jose's 10th Street Distillery uses peated barley from Scotland for its Distiller's Cut peated single malt. It's the peatiest expression from the distillery, and is double distilled in copper pot stills, aged in bourbon barrels, and made with mineral-rich snowmelt from the Sierra Mountains. The whisky is bottled at 88 proof.
