About this bottle

Hailing from tiny Réunion Island, off the coast of Madagascar near southern Africa, the Cap Savanna Rhum isn’t your traditional Caribbean rum. Made in the French style from sugarcane juice rather than molasses, it’s aged for seven years in French oak barrels. Note: This is not currently available in the US.

An intense, traditional aged Rhum (molasses-based) by Distillerie Savanna on the Isle of Réunion aged for 7 years in oak. It has an aromatic birth with notes of vanilla, caramel & sea spray; while a rich & crisp life adds notes of vanilla, tropical flowers, tropical fruits & a hint of coffee; that led to a dry & creamy death with notes of molasses.
