Was very excited for this local bourbon option. It’s a great value option. Simple and mild oak on the nose. Tastes a little young but surprisingly smooth. I get leather and oak predominantly with a little burnt caramel at the end. Good warmth throughout.
I had the barrel strength version and personally think this is the best bourbon I've ever had. A little sweet and caramelly and perfect for sipping with a splash of water.
Entry level Bourbon that could use a bit of aging. Pleasant caramel flavor with hints of spice and a kick on the way-out.
Straightforward, hearty kick. Nothing to write home about, but good for Old Fashioneds.
Nothing special but smooth, easy drinking.
