Lovely nose with notes of orange, chocolate, and a hint of barley funk. Palate is a little grainy and young, but has a nice, light honey note, too. Big, bold finish with some leather, a touch of smoke, and more oak than you’d expect. Overall, it starts good, ends great, but is a little disappointing in the middle. Not bad, but not amazing. Solid for the price but not for much more.
Nose: nice. Light oak. Palate: solid Kentucky hug. Gets better the more I drink. Very smooth. I get caramel. Finish: caramel and long burn. Water?: cuts down on burn a lot. Lots of oak after the water. I think I would like it slightly more on an ice ball.
Vanilla on the nose. Cinnamon and spice on the back end. Glad I picked this up, but overall, may nit be quite worth the price point.
Just “ok”. Was expecting better but that doesnt mean it wasnt good. Little too much of a bite
Smooth and mild sweetness. Really liked it for the price.
