About this bottle

Chairman's Reserve Master's Selection 19 Year is limited edition single barrel release. This is the second in the Master's Selection series from the Saint Lucian brand. The rum was distilled in 2000 in the John Dore No. 1 pot still and matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 53.1% ABV with no added sugar. Only 341 bottles produced.

This selection presents vanilla, caramel, and toffee notes to the nose. The mouth feel is thin with complex notes of cane sugar, vanilla, spicy, and a hint of chocolate covered cherries. The selection finishes light, with a hint of honey, and sulfur-molasses (which is not my favorite tasting note). This is a very good aged rum.
