Wow. This may be the best effect I’ve ever tasted from a barrel finish. The wine barrels gave some seriously rich, powerful raisin and fruit notes that complement the bourbon perfectly. Not overly complex but wow is it delicious.
A raisin explosion! Nose: raisin! Mouth: raisin! Finish: raisin! An unbelievable pour! I’d give it 5 stars, but I just can’t give a finished bourbon a 5 star review. Another great one from Chattanooga
The way both of these cask blend together with the whiskey is just amazing. Great nose, great palate, great price. For 75 bucks do not pass on batch 27 if you see it.
