The nose was very sweet with bold vanilla and caramel. Taste brought out the citrus notes with oak and then waves of sweetness with maybe cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is medium to long and bright with citrus coming out at the tail of the finish. It’s a very smooth pour for being 123.9 proof.

Super dry rye aroma with lots of oak on the nose. Giant hit of flavor, rich and sweet, there are hints of cognac flavor in there for me. Rich, subtly spicy, beautiful tail, same oak and tannin bitterness as the 15 year. But better. Best whiskey of theirs Ive tried.
