Oh man, this stuff is special! It seemed to nose a little thin to where I was only picking up a little bit of caramel and raisin. But the taste can only be described as full, buttery, and rich! I would love to have this with a nice steak and some crab legs or shrimp. The buttery taste of this is what stands out accompanied by tones od dried fruit and leather, carrying all for a long finish. An extremely pleasant poor that I will come back to you again and again. Well worth the $65 I spent on it. This is one to keep as a “go to”.

Batch 16 A woody, Kentucky Straight Bourbon crafted in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Company aged for 5 years in American white oak before being bottled at 50% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, fruits, herbs & spices; while a grainy & woody life adds notes of butterscotch, crystalized ginger, orange zest & apricot; that led to a long & spicy death with notes of oak, white pepper, cinnamon, leather.
