I just can’t handle how strong the added sweetness is. No sir. Spirit #1 in Distiller Team Blind Tasting. Lead by @brooklynwino
About this bottle
First introduced in October 2016, Citadelle No Mistake Old Tom Gin is a limited edition release from Maison Ferrand. Caribbean brown sugar is toasted, slightly browned, and then alcoholized. This toasted sugar is then aged in spirit casks for 3-4 months. The aged toasted sugar is then added to its Citadelle Reserve Gin, a barrel-aged version of their standard gin, and it spends a further for four months into casks to ensure proper absorption. Bottled at 46% ABV.

Smells like turpentine but tastes way better. Hard to get past smell tho. Pretty sweet on back end
Heavy and syrupy. Demerara sugar is a heavy character. Very nice over ice with acid.
This is really special. Toasted almonds, baking spices, juniper. Big fan.
a little overly sweet for my taste but a very interesting experience.
Utrolig dejlig sødme, brun farin
