Strong alcohol taste but falvor tones come through well regardless. Tried straight and with water. This one needs sone ice and water to bring the alcohol taste down and release mor glavor notes than my other brands. Id say 20% dilution at least. But really good. Not enough to justify the price. O prever their next ñower category, save 18 bucks and difference is minimal.
I tried this at a tasting and enjoyed it very much. It had the typical bourbon notes with a well rounded body with less bite. I’d like to purchase one of these and give it a proper review.
Nose is caramel, nutty, lots of cherry, leather. Taste is oaky, caramel, bitter, slightly chalky, cherry. Finish is bitter and just slightly fruity.
Lots of vanilla and caramel. Solid sipper. 100 proof pairs great with an ice cube. Given as gift as part of family whiskey club.
Sweet and vanilla with hints of oak and black pepper. Finish is somewhat short, but overall this is a solid drinker
