About this bottle
Fanny Fougerat is a fourth generation distiller, but she's only the first in her family to bottle under the family name. She farms her family's 30 hectares of ugni blanc vines which are primarily located in the Borderies cru with some holdings in the Fins Bois. Petit Cigüe is her youngest expression. The grapes here were harvested in 2010 and the wine was distilled twice with a direct-fire alembic still. Just 15% of the batch was aged in new oak and the rest was placed into neutral oak. No additives, sugar or caramel is added. These are single barrel releases with barrel and bottle number listed on the label.
