Coppercraft Straight Bourbon

Tried this neat without ice. Let it rest too. The nose had a faint caramel smell and lots of heat/ethanol. The nose made me nervous as it wasn’t inviting. The palate was pure heat and alcohol. Maybe some caramel at best but other than that, I was shocked how hot it was on the palate for being only 97 proof. The finish continued the heat and almost like a chemical burn down your throat. This wasn’t enjoyable at all and still only 97 proof. I wouldn’t recommend this bottle or even trying it. Save your time/money and try something else.

Color is dark amber, almost copper. Nose starts with leather, oak, and vanilla. Swirling reveals subtle toffee and baking spices. First sip is dark, with lots of baking spices as well a notes of brown sugar. Mouthfeel is not thin, but does have a little drying sensation. Additional sips show notes of toffee and vanilla. Finish is moderate, with more of the baking spices. Overall, a solid if not overly exciting Bourbon. Probably not worth the $50 tag, but no other significant complaints.

It tis an amazing pour that tingles the senses! Nose: Chocolate, hints of pineapple and some brown sugar. Finish: some spice, a little ginger, and tingles!!! This 100 proof is a great pour. Check them out!

A bit different but really surprisingly good. Claims to be 10 yrs old. Also have a blended Bourbon with 4 and 10 yr old. Bit high $$$ for me on the regular basis.

Solid taste, can't really complain about anything because it's got a strong starting taste and can just sit until the flavor really comes out.

Holy shit this one is good. Good neat and good over ice. It's not overly sweet but I get a bit of a sweet taste.
