Well this qualifies as the ceiling for what I will spend on tequila. The presentation is nice, but at this price it should be. Nose is very light. I sense the agave, but only on the edges with a hint of honey. First sip is sweet of light sugar with almost no burn. This is a nice pour, but at $60 higher than Avion 44 I am knocking it down a bit too below a 4 star. Am I disappointed in the purchase? No, but I would suggest you save the money and go with Avion.

A nice oakiness in the beginning, dashes of vanilla, hay, very light notes of caramel before a bit of agave herbality, then back to the savory, clean and smooth flavor. The finish is short and smooth as can be with a dash of baking spice. A solid extra anejo.
Was a gift to my wife (the tequila lover) had this in a blind tasting today. Blew all others away. Truly an amazing tequila!
Smooth as ice! Absolutely no bite! The most amazing tequila I have ever had the pleasure of sharing with friends.
