It’s a fine scotch, but for that price and age statement, I some know. Tobacco smoke mix with leather, brine, floral, a slight mustiness, and sweet finish probably thanks to the Cognac cask. It’s good, but I expected a bit more complexity from a 33 year old.
A maritime earthy flavor on the nose with spices and leather on the palate. A long lingering finish with notes of licorice dark chocolate.
Pipe tobacco, smoke, brown sugar, banana, dry cognac at the end, iodine, the flavors are very "married"
