Creag Isle Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ran across this hidden gem while buying bourbon. For the price you can't beat it. After letting it breathe for 5 min, I took a sip. Wasn't a fan. Felt smooth but damn near watery. A few more sips and it gradually won me over. Smells of moderate peat, vanilla, allspice and pepper. Smoky but not heavy, pleasantly spicy and interesting medicinal finish. I'll stock up while it's cheap.

Not as peaty as the 12 year, but still a good sip. More vanilla notes and does need a little time to breath.
