Definitely a better spiced rum than Morgan in my opinion. And it also goes really really well in homemade wassail and a run of the mill dark and stormy style drink. And for the price, you cannot go wrong nor beat it.
Morgan-y sweetness up front. A good amount of spice in the middle but not artificial tasting, a little underwhelming. Lots of after-burn. I don't have a problem sipping but it'd make a better mixer.
