About this bottle
Primarily known for their scotch whisky, the Weymss family released this gin expression in 2012, a follow-up to their original gin two years prior. It is named for the moment when Queen Mary saw her future husband, Lord Darnley, through a courtyard window at Weymss Castle in 1565. This gin is made from a quadruple-distilled neutral grain spirit infused with 10 botanicals - juniper, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, coriander seed, cassia, grains of paradise, cloves, and angelica root - before being distilled again. It is bottled at 42.7% ABV.
