Tulchan Gin
About this bottle
Tulchan Gin is made as a London Dry Gin although it is distilled in the Scottish Speyside. Botanicals used here were inspired by the flora and fauna of the Tulchan Estate which is located on the banks of the River Spey. In addition to the requisite juniper and other traditional botanicals like angelica root and licorice root, the small batch gin uses sloe berries, elderflower, blackberry leaves and asparagus in its production. The global launch kicks off in the UK and US as of July 2022 with Latin America, the Caribbean, Panama, and the Dominican Republic to follow later in 2022.

Laden with a hearty infusion of juniper, this is a strong gin with a lot of character. Slightly sweet and floral, it has a medium body and a super long finish. Bright, friendly and in a nouveau London Dry style, this makes a great starter for gin cocktails, whether a traditional Martini or a modern Gin Gin Mule.
It seems to be scoring high according to different sources, it is definitely a good “dry” gin, with punch and aromas, but it wasn’t as outstanding as it should for the local market price.
