Nose- caramel, nutty, ethanol, oak, pastry dough, strawberry Palate- Vanilla, spicy proof with cinnamon and pepper, oak, nutty, caramel Finish- short to medium, thin, dry, pepper and vanilla A single barrel store pick coming in at 119 proof, this wheated bourbon hits harder than it’s proof. I found that a few drops of water really helped open it up and mellow it a bit. Hot and spicy sipped neat. A real treat with a bit of water.

I actually have the “Small Batch” instead of the “Single Barrel”. Sweet and spicy are the heavy notes up front and carry through the relatively short finish. Opens up nicely with a drop or two of water.
Bananas and peanut. Reminds me of gentlemen jack with more bite. Interesting woody notes. Nice sipper though. SIB from Craft Brewed in Nashville
Blind whiskey night tasting with friends. Hot, flavorful, quite roasty. Somewhat reminiscent of something from Balcones with the roasty note.
Clean, sweet, candy and vanilla. Very pleasant and surprisingly smooth for the proof...
Taste the barrel, sweet, medium strength with no strong after taste
