Dark golden in color, lots of legs show up quickly, yet a nice sheet remains on the glass. The first nose reveals that it is a little rough around the edges... there's a wonderful malty quality to it, and lots of the right stuff is there. The finish shows up like the nose. Although tasty, It's unfinished. A nice oaky/ milk chocolate sweetness comes through mid-palate, then yields to a dry, almost bitter , barrel dominated finish. They're onto something, and after another 20 years of practice, they're going to have this Tennessee whiskey thing dialed in!

Sweet and smooth with caramel and a little molasses. Good body with the sweet flavor lasting throughout. Very good!
