Not my favorite for sipping. Aroma of toasted sesame
About this bottle
Del Professore was founded by Leonardo Leuci, owner of the Jerry Thomas Speakeasy bar in Rome, with the goal of re-creating the styles of vermouth and aperitivi that would have been popular in the late 18th century Thomas era. The Rosso is a Piedmontese style of sweet vermouth, made from a selection of wines and infused with a mix of botanicals that includes wormwood, Alpine mint, rhubarb, bitter orange, cloves, and mace. The vermouth is aged several months to mellow out the flavors.
