This Bourbon reminds me of smoky licorice. Although I've not decided whether or not I love it, it does seem quite smooth. Contrary to what others are saying, I don't feel that this bourbon is harsh or unplesant in any way. Seems to have a slightly herbaceous finish. The challenge here is the price point... not sure if its worth the money but hard to find bourbons that taste similar. Very unique taste.

It’s decent enough for a four year bourbon, but definitely not worth the price tag. I’m still surprised that after a number of years the cost for this bottle has only gone up. Money is better spent on bottles that are better for half the price. Opened 2/13 Finished 9/19

An uneven profile, a little hot on the tongue, a harsh finish. Definitely over priced. Especially compared to its single malt sibling, which was superb, though not worth the $250 price by any means.

Aromas with a lot of vanilla and cinnamon flavors right in line and really taste like a rye. Finish is medium with a little burn. A little water broght out more vanilla.

For 250 dollars I was expecting a lot more from this whiskey. I was just disappointed.

Not my fav.. harsh bite imo. I've bought better bourbons for less.
