Nose - leather, spearmint Taste - sweet candied fruits, vanilla, light on the palate. The smoothness on this one is pretty awesome. However, I was expecting a bit more complexity at this price point. ($60 per bottle) Bottom line - If your new to bourbon… the smoothness is ideal. But this may be underwhelming to others If they do a cask strength or barrel proof… look out.

Surprisingly light on the pallet at first, with a bite on the back end… makes sense given the 92 proof rating and aged only 5 years. Tastes bright with notes of cinnamon and a fruit. Enjoyable but I have other bottles I’d recommend for the price. Overall, easy to drink but likely a glass and you’re done.
A very light whiskey up front and on the palate. I get a lot of burnt oak char. Some leather and fresh spearmint. Not a ton going on here.
Goes down smooth neat. Could see it being too watered down on ice.
Smooth, with a nice oak/peach scent, ends with a cinnamon touch.
Flat in flavor, no burn but an underwhelming pour
