Produced in the city of Três Pontas, state of Minas Gerais, the producer named each cachaça after a god from Roman mythology. This one is called Mercury, in honor of the Roman messenger god. This cachaça is a new product and is not yet on the producer's website or available for sale. The time spent in Jequitibá did not add color to the drink, but it did add oiliness and minimized the vegetal freshness of the sugar cane. The 44% alcohol (4% more than the producer's other cachaças) is well integrated and does not attack the sensory.
