Neat. Crystal clear with long legs on the glass. Aroma is agave, fruit, earth, black pepper, citrus peel, herbal/vegetal, floral, slight mint. Taste starts with cooked agave, lots of candied fruit and some citrus. Minerals, brine, slightly bitter herbs, black pepper keep it well balanced leading into a long, tart, dry finish with sweet This gets much more interesting as it opens up, definitely let this sit out and don't judge on a first pour of a bottle. It was a little one note at first, but I keep finding layers as I slowly go through the pour. Unique, good juice, fun bottle, a little on the pricey side..but worth trying at least once

About this bottle
Dos Armadillos pays homage to the ancient symbol of protection from early Mexican civilization, which is said to coincide with the culture of the first agave spirits. The plants used for this 100% agave tequila are harvested at 8 years, steamed in an autoclave, and double-distilled. This expression is bottled unaged in ornate, green-tinted and clear glass with braided rope detail.
