It is overbearing, very disappointing for what i thought it would be. I gave it several tries and found that it is not mellow at all and even when mixed with a cola I couldn’t get it down. Might just not be my thing.

Smells and tastes like a weak scotch. Slightly harsh on both the tounge and after taste. Taste was slightly peat, vaguely cherry, and fruity. I would drink it again if it was a gift...
Smells sweer and has faint flavors of apple pie. In my opinion it tastes “young” to me, the backend I get a white dog aftertaste, could use more time in the barrel.
As another reviewer commented, reminds me of a weak scotch. Slight peat with hints of dark fruit. A little spice on the tongue and finishes oily.
Spices, pencil shavings, oak, corn, lemon, raisin. A tiny oily and taste lingers a little while.
It’s ok. A little too hot for its proof. More of a mixer than a sipper.
