A crisp, Gin by master distiller Patrick J Rigby for The Shed Distillery in County Leitrim, Ireland. Distilled in a medieval copper pot still, Gunpowder Gin is made with the original 12 botanicals, he more sturdy of which are added to the distillate in the pot (juniper, cardamom, coriander, star anise, orris root, angelica root, caraway seeds & meadowsweet); & some which are vapor-infused Citrus monstruosa & the namesake gunpowder tea.' It has a bold & aromatic birth with notes of citrus, star anise & tea; while a warm & spicy life adds notes of berries, Citrus monstruosa, juniper berries & coriander; that leads to a long, bold & spicy death with hints of pepper, earth & raspberry.
