Pleasantly surprised with this bourbon at this price point. First tried with a round ice cube, then neat- preferred neat even though it was a little warm. Nose is caramel, young oak, a little bread like..and a hint of citrus, floral and pepper-lesser hint. Dry mouth feel. Taste is a little punchy and peppery at first, kind of singed caramel, oaky, wheat, picking up rye, maybe orange..maybe a hint of vanilla. Finish is a little insubstantial.. lightly caramel, lightly oak and nutty. Overall, I like it for under 40 bucks and 101 proof. :)

Love the 101 proof on this remarkably well rounded Bourbon. It manages to present far above its' age without the "craft" flavor of tails or redoubled tails. Easy to reach for and pleasant to drink.

Thick like Jackie's ass. Good flavor initially but after taste was little off. Almost a scotch flavor. Very little burn if any.

Herbeux, et épicé, il est fougueux. Il faut l'apprivoiser.
