On the nose buttery figs and plums lead the way with caramel-toffee crisps, dried lemon, and soft spice underneath. On the palate, spice intensifies as honeyed fig and pear blossom add depth with vanilla and caramel supporting. The finish is pleasant and layered with a wave of spice fading into dark dried fruits, oiled leather and butterscotch toffee. Everything we’re looking for in sherry aged Scotch. Reviewed by: Binny's
