Nose- rich dark cherries, oak, a slight oaky mustiness that is earthy. Tobacco/cigar box, and milk chocolate. This nose is astoundingly good! Palate- those dark cherries and oak earthiness come through on the palate. Milk chocolate with a hint of mushroom breaks through mid palate. The sip is rich, slightly oily, and chewy. Flavors come in waves here. This is a decadent, delicious whiskey. Finish- the finish is long and warming. The age is revealed here as the oak turns slightly dry. Goes out on that wonderful tobacco/cigar box note. Overall- This is the best whiskey I have had this year. The taste layers are exquisitely done. Everything is in great juxtaposition.

Nose: Baked apples, cherry and a touch of grape. Fantastic oak and oak spice. Creamy vanilla. Warm toasty. Palate: More spicy than the fruity nose would lead you to believe. But the apples are there too. Finish: Spice and fruit forward that comes back vanilla. A touch dry but lingering. I really love this finish. Packs a ton of flavor for the proof. 93/100

Not a super strong nose, but it’s sweet & oaky. Palate is wonderful BT classic grapey sweetness. No harshness at all; only sweet oak on the back. The finish is the star of the show. It keeps on going & going. . . Fantastic pour. Have this on a fresh palate, not after some cask strength stuff

Nose: Luxardo cherry Taste: sweet, honey big flavor savory Finish: dry oaky If I could buy a bottle I would only purchase this forever! I’m a Weller antique, Elijah Craig fan, but this is awesome! Best of the antique, coming from a Handy fan!!

Caramel covered poocorn, viscous body, slight herbal finish that lingers forever. So good

Very nice and tasty. The taste is more refined than the standard Eagle Rare.
