Visual: Honey-gold; slow, viscous legs. Nosing: total fruit bomb with a very subtle "funk". Marmalade, apple pie, and cinnamon. Tasting: sweet, great body with a long finish. Light milk chocolate with a cherry liqueur finish. Warm baking spices from the bourbon cask. Reduced Nosing: Dusted cocoa, floral and vanilla come through. Reduced Tasting: with added water, much more fruit is pretty, namely some tropical flavours: passion-fruit and dried mango strips. Lots of tannins from the oak are present too. A fantastic 21 year old: smooth, sweet, complex and hits you right in the soul.
