Everything you pick up is distinct and full, the sign of its age versus its proof. The palate is easygoing and fills the mouth with an immediate burst of rye spice enveloping charred oak and ripe fruit. It is soft yet intense, with how subtly distinct in full each and every note of flavor is. Vanilla and faint touches of cooked brown sugar follow in the background to round everything out with the slightest hint of creaminess. The finish is medium with a lingering pepperiness and charred oak that keeps mouth feeling somewhat dry. Everything else falls off in a way that makes you want to take another sip.
