Very creamy, wonderful mouthfeel. Oak and vanilla flavors, and I think I taste banana. The creamy mouthfeel melts into a great tail.
About this bottle
Operated by Justin and Jennifer Stiefel, Elk Rider Bourbon’s mash-bill is sourced entirely from Washington State. The mash is pressure cooked and consists of a 65% corn, 35% rye, and 5% malted barley. They’ve coined the term "Farm to Flask" as all distilling, aging, and bottling of their product occurs on site at their distillery in Gig Harbor. All distillate is aged and then blended in casks of 200L, 50L, and 10L barrels for just under 2 years. The label pays homage to Jennifer’s ancestors by depicting a woman riding an elk as they were renown for pioneering the practice of breaking and taming wild elk.

Just got a bottle. Picked up subtle nose of pine which was interesting. Enjoyed it neat and found it pleasant.
Made me regret not ordering the only other bourbon option they had at Moda (Jim Beam)...
good front taste and goes smooth, funky end taste.
