Brown sugar undertone nose with Oregon oak overtone. Oak remains dominant in the palette with apricot lead, spicy overtones go to finish with honey. This is probably a best kept secret and would be near perfection if it was aged two more years. Don’t tell anyone.

Brown sugar, caramel and oak on the nose and palate. Not as sweet as it smells on the palate. Also get white pepper, slightly savory, herbal, oak shines throughout. I swear I get a little briny celery. Oily mouth feel, medium finish. Enjoyed it.

Caramel and pepper. Lasts a long time. Nearly a rye. This and the non-cask strength I find similar to Rittenhouse rye. Very good.

I agree! This one's a gem. High proof with a clean spicy, vanilla taste. The finish goes on and on. A high rated bourbon.
